An Invitation to create the community we all want to age into

Since retiring as an active insurance agent at year-end 2022, I have stayed community engaged with three different local non-profit groups.  Today, I am reaching out to you as President of Interlink Volunteers, that is celebrating its 40th year of locally supporting the needs of our vulnerable Senior population by providing volunteer transportation to critical medical, dental and vision appointments, installing ADA wheelchair ramps and grab bars for home safety.

Be my guest at Interlink’s 40th Anniversary Donor Luncheon on Thursday, March 20th (first day of Spring). For those of you who want to support the important work of Interlink Volunteers, I wanted to provide you this personal invitation to enjoy a complimentary lunch while being updated on our valley’s Senior population, including…

40th Anniversary Luncheon program with Emcee, Keith Havens, of Keith’s Big Fish and Outdoor Trophies, former Interlink board member, past KLEW weather forecaster, past Executive Director/CEO of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce and life-long valley resident.

A look back at Interlink’s 40-year history by Ray Rosch, past Interlink Executive Director.  Learn how volunteers have met Senior needs with transportation for shut-ins to critical doctor appointments, built ramps for handicap access to their homes, and installed grab bars to make their homes safe – all consistent with our Mission to “provide volunteers to enable the elderly and disabled to live independently in their own homes.”

“The Silver Report” presented by Mark Havens, Interlink Executive Director, that compiles census data from Lewiston/Nez Perce County and Clarkston/Asotin County into one valley wide report, revealing the urgent “Silver Tsunami” that will flood into the valley over next 10-years. Learn about our population mix that will rival Florida, with Seniors rising to more than 33% of our valley’s total population.

Over the last two years, Interlink has alerted Health Care, Social Service, Education and Non-Profit providers.  Now, we are providing this information to the key individuals and the business community to help you answer the question…  “What can every person and business do now to serve a growing Senior consumer population due to this massive demographic shift?”   (our guests can request a follow-up full presentation of the “Silver Report” by Interlink).

Interlink’s future vision presented by me, President John Sullivan.  Learn how Interlink has restructured and how you can help us meet the growing needs of our local Senior population. Together we can partner to “create the community we all want to age into.”

ALL ATTENDEES MUST RSVP BY MARCH 17th - seating is limited.
